Sunya Tippinij is a Chemical Engineer who graduated from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, with over 30 years of experience in the refinery and petrochemical industry. He has extensive expertise as both a Production Engineer and Process Engineer, covering a wide range of refinery and specialty units, including ADU, DHT, SRU, DCC, NHTU, RFM, as well as lube base oil, UHV, and specialty chemical processes. Sunya has played a key leadership role in major refinery projects, most notably serving as Process Manager for the Ultra Clean Fuel Project, which successfully enabled the production of Euro 5 diesel. His responsibilities included the preparation of Basic Engineering Design Packages (BEDP), Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) form revamping, debottlenecking, and expansion projects, as well as TOR/ITB development, project analysis, cost estimation, and economic feasibility studies. He also led the detailed design phase in collaboration with EPC contractors, with the project successfully completed by the end of 2023. Currently, Sunya Tippinij serves as Senior Vice President, Central & Operation Support Technology at IRPC, where he oversees Petrochemical& Refinery technology strategy, operational excellence, and decarbonization initiatives supporting the company’s long-term sustainability goals
